Battle Trophies I'm Missing :(

1) The description lies Sure if you use the item before an attack is in progress then the character won't attack. However if you use it when the skill is in progress then they will continue with that attack. Only works w/th spammable skills where you hold down or tap the button the skill is asigned to though like Dream Hammer, Vampiric Flash, Energy Burst, Dimension Door, etc. Since Roe Tablets/Shielding Devices last thirty seconds it's best to use skills that nearly last that long else the character will have to stand around twiddling their thumbs for a while until they can attack again.

2) Don't use battle skills.

3) Berserker's Device - Isn't that the item for 30 secs don't use coup de gras?

Grrrr... you know how Roger can chain his dirt kicks or special major? Well for some reason Roe Tablets won't work on him for those combos. With Increase HP Damage and 9999 ATK, we're talking ~60,000-70,000 damage a hit bursts before attack decisions and fireworks; combined with the invincibility Peppita's 300% Dream Hammer would have a perfect supporting companion ;_;

1) When You Have A Good Weapon, And A Better One, But Decreases Defense, When You Put Optimize In The Equip Menu, It Doesn't Equip Nothing :O I Tried It With Mirage And Cliff For Accident XD
2) When You Are With Sophia, If YOU Are Using Her, You Attack, Do A Battle Skill (Fire Bolt Or Ice Needles) And Then Do Meteor Swarm, The First Battle Skill And Meteor Swarm Appear As Cancel Bonus +150%, And Meteor Swarm Should Be 200

Number 2) sounds like the cancel skip glitch. There's a FAQ on GameFAQs about it. I've done it quite a lot myself too

117 Defeat Chimera in 1 Minute

Have your characters equipped with Amulets of Freedom of use refined Medicine Bottles on them to prevent the Chimera from paralysing your characters. This will save you from wasting time curing the status effect in battle. Other than that the usual strategy of boosting your damage output w/th Power Dance/Power Up on suitable offensive moves. Peppita's Kaboom is a good skill for this fight as since the Chimera is big the skill can hit lots and do tons of damage. The same applies for Fayt's sidekick.

Oh hell good luck. I can't even really remember how I got this it was so long ago. I think it had something to do w/th Sophia though and hiding at the furthest end of the battlefield with her

119 Defeat Stone Golem in 1 Minute

MP Kill. L/R style w/th Maria w/th Aiming Device and/or Nel w/th Flying Guillotine works. Use Peppita will Power Dance > Instanto Blast for full damage output potential. Stone Golem is slow so you should have plenty of time to switch between Maria and Peppita if you have to keeping them out of range of it.

121 Defeat Spirit Trio in 1 Minute

Power Up/Power Dance boosted area of effect offensive moves like Kaboom/Faerie Friend, Air Raid, Magnetic Field, Aerial Assault, Vampiric Flash, Raging Helmet, etc usually work a treat.

123 Defeat Gau in 1 Minute
124 Defeat Gau Taking No Damage

Who the hell is Gau? o_o Only Gau I know is Gau from Final Fantasy 6

125 Defeat Berial/Belzeber 1 Minute


If you want to take care of these guys in style then an overlevelled overpowered Peppita w/th Power Dance > Faerie Friend is the way to go. Sometimes I get carried away with levelling on Styx *^_^*

For lower levelled parties at the average of L30+ exploit Berial's wind elemental weakness + low MP by using wind elemental or MP damage skills and Fayt's Lightning Blade which does both. Powerdancing Fayt is also a good way to go for even more damage meaning you'll defeat Berial even quicker. Other good moves to use are powerdanced Instanto Blast, Aerial Assault, Whirlwind or Air Slash. Once Berial is gone Belzeber is easy to take out on his own. Just pile him with pressure *^_^*

126 Defeat Berial/Belzeber No Damage

Sophia w/th Thunder Flare/Explosion combos kept at range. Don't worry if Belzebers Steal Life/Spirit connects I don't think that counts as proper damage/effects the no damage trophy.

I recommend keeping these trophies as amongst the last to collect as you need Fayt, Sophia and Peppita for them but it would be a shame not to use them to help collect other trophies first.

You can't get both of these on Universe btw or on 4-D you could get "defeat Lenneth taking no damage" and "defeat 4-D Lenneth with no damage" As long as a no damage trophy doesn't have the name of a specific difficulty mode in it you can get it on any difficulty level.

I just thought of a corny way for you to try DD Use a Roe Tablet on your Sophia and keep her for item use whilst your AI Fayt and Maria get the damage in on Lenneth. Sophia will still be able to use items to heal and support her allies even when under the Roe Tablet's invincibility. When Sophia is able to cast spells again that's the hint that it's time to use another Roe Tablet. Best time to start using Roe Tablet would be during Nibelung Valesti. It's easy to keep your item user out of range of her melee attacks other wise and you could use Earth and Wind Absorbtion on a Laser Weapon incase you get hit by Lenneth's spells. Personally I'd use Peppita for this strategy though since she has quicker item usage times than Sophia but Sophia is cute too

Once again it's possible to get all of these on a higher difficulty mode if you didn't get the first two on Galaxy. Once mastered Peppita w/th a Dream Hammer strategy can defeat any Freya within five minutes. Maria w/th a L10 Radiation Bots can also score record times if you master using that skill. I haven't - I can only use Dream Hammer Before I learnt the Dream Hammer strategy I used Peppita w/th Faerie Friend and Cliff w/th Max Shockwave to defeat Universe Freya within twenty minutes. Albel was my stunbomb/item user hidden in a corner.

Basically there are many different ways of defeating Freya within the time limit and every single character has something to offer. So have some fun experimenting!

For no damage superjolt's juggle method works if you're careful or the common strategy is to keep Sophia or an item user in the corner furthest away from Freya moving them to another corner if Freya comes close. Use stunbombs if needed. Do NOT switch between characters if the other characters have dealt damage to Freya and have also recieved damage too.

These should come naturally as you get through multiple playthroughs so don't worry Your battle records add up and are stored within the system data. Once you've stacked enough time you'll get the trophies. Probably the within 50 hours pretty soon - afterall you've fought a lot of battles already - and then the total of 100 Hours later on.

187 Defeat Freya Weak Attacks Only

I used Peppita's short X counter attacks for these.

Albel w/th his short X and a Roe Tablet used on him should work wonders also though especially on Freya.

Just remember to have your other party members dead or on manual doing nothing and only use them for using items - nothing else and *no* offensive items like stunbombs that do damage. Duck duck bombs are ok though.

Again I used Peppita w/th her counter O and short O physicals. Sophia's strong O also works though. Same rules for allies apply.

Also a lot of battle trophies you can get really easily right now at your stage on your current file are the likes of "win using symbology/charge/items/etc only" Just take your powerful characters back to Vanguard via the transport terminal in Gemity and exploit Noblemen again. For symbology only control Sophia, have the other two characters on do nothing and chain Thunder Flare or something. Symbology used as battle skills count. For Charge use Fayt with a Charge on a Nobleman. For items use a stunbomb that also causes damage. For Metal Pipe a high level Fayt should be able to defeat a Nobleman easy even with the Metal Pipe equipped.

And so on
