I heard it from sasuke, but his game was different from mine on G.U. on how to get the best bike parts, so not sure which other of his games are different.

Seriously though yeah there are such cool things that could be done with those two to show video wise but since I can't record (digital camera no good) I just have to imagine it

At first it was a disaster with four or so gameovers but then I figured out my strategy which was to switch Mirage to manual as AAA bait once they went into Plasma Cannon/Prism Shake.

So basically it went -

Loose Line formation - Peppita hidden in a corner, Mirage in the middle, Nel closest to tv camera.

*Start FAM Hammer of Might w/th Mirage and put her on auto.

* Switch to Peppita and do FAM Power Dance > L10 Instanto Blast > Power Dance > IB > Power Dance > IB

* Switch to Mirage and set her to auto.

* Alternate between using Power Dance > IB on stunned wisps and reviving Mirage/Nel as needed.

Nel had Flying Guillotine which was good for distraction I guess but it didn't really help damage wise because Power Dance wasn't being used close enough to her

Sometimes when Mirage + Nel died and wisps got perilously close to Peppy I got to use counter attacks

If I knew Peppita wasn't going to be able to avoid an attack then I'd revive Mirage so I could switch to her to revive Peppy.

How many battles do you have now? I've got like 27,000 rounded. Given all the time I've already devoted to this game, I can't imagine squeezing twice as many more fights out of the game w/o resorting to auto-battle methods.

lol yeah it's certainly nice for Cliff/Mirage to have a L/R move that doesn't take them into short thanks to FAM! However I have to confess I'm not very good at exploiting FAM mode HoM since when I was trying to FAM Hammer Gabriel he kept standing still w/th 100% getting the Hammer to trigger his AAA so Mirage would run out of enough fury for chaining

Peppita however has those lovely dances which bypass enemy AAA *^_^*

Like I bet a lot of us sat down to humble pie when some Japanese player posted the roed Dream Hammer vid and then we found it could be done with other moves as well I know quite a few people including myself who were like "wtf I've been playing the game for years and I didn't know that was possible "

Guess I'm a slower learner.

Suppose that scenario wouldn't have been any different if FAM was off. Or... does enemy AI get any smarter in defending moves with FAM?

Oh yes. Extremely helpful on 4D, with that no movement thing constantly causing opponents to bring their Guards up. Cliff in particular loves to trigger Star Guard on me

XD My SO3 imagination wandered long distances after watching that the first time. I know those Japanese players are hiding more... just gotta wait for a few more to join YouTube and enlighten us further.

With non FAM Gabriel would see Mirage coming into range and then move ... maybe <_<

Yeah maybe Japanese players know how to take more than two optional characters

Indeed, indeed. I'm thinking of maybe doing another intense Galaxy mode FAM enabled file with a Fayt/Peppita/Adray team

I'll try and finish Peppita/Nel/Mirage, Fayt/Maria/Peppita and do Maria/Roger/Albel first though

Probably because this is where they feel the most at home. I haven't been making much progress in VP2 since Wild ARMs 3 has consumed my soul, though my Clive is incredibly strong and is at Lv 60, versus the rest of my team who is at Lv 55 (hooray broken PS chains and Finest Arts!).
