Try 4-D mode

Though I think you should start trying out some different characters but I don't know if 4-D mode is the best place to do that

Freya ... the first place I defeated her was on Universe actually since I was more experienced at the game then. I never got to her on my very first playthrough of Galaxy because I gave up after Lenneth who back then seemed impossibly hard - I had Nel/Albel/Sophia and she kept on killing Nel and Albel V_V So I had Sophia running around the battlefield like crazy alternating between reviving and spamming Explosion. After what seemed like an eternity and I'd almost ran out of all my items Lenneth died to an Explosion that was still on the field whilst I was reviving Nel and Albel o_o I got the defeat Lenneth using Symbology trophy from that fight haha. She took all the fight out of me for that file though and I lost the heart to play it.

For Universe Freya I had an MP tanked Peppita with Cliff and Albel loaded with boots of prowess. Despite this only Peppita was really durable eating all Freya's attacks but Ether Strike whilst Freya regularly smacked the crap out of Albel and Cliff V_V I think it's because DEF isn't as effective on higher difficulty modes. Anyway I eventually won thanks to lots of powerful Faerie Friends from Peppita but she had to do a lot of reviving with items between times.

On that file I remember trying all sorts of strategies to try and get her time limit trophy from her but Albel kept dying and screwing it up. Eventually I got mad and stuck him in a corner on item duty for stunbomb and healing item use whilst I alterated control between Cliff and Peppita keeping Freya bounced between L/R Max Shockwaves from Cliff and S/R Power Dance > Faerie Friends from Peppita Defeat Universe Freya in twenty minutes received yay.

Your vids have helped me out a lot. I'm now juggle crazy thanks to you The Loot Item strategy does indeed work pretty well - I have a thread about it at GameFAQs. I've been trying other juggle combos as well like Albel's anti air + Loot Item with Peppita's Charge and Adray's Aerial with Peppita's Charge.

I simply followed Marty81's Boss FAQ "Easy Freya" strat the first time I killed her. Still took a few resets because Sophia wasn't always out of Ether Strike's huge damage radius (due to Freya moving towards the center of the field).

So, guess I never managed to beat her on my own until a 4D playthrough. But there Energy Burst had very special properties that made it really easy to solo with Maria. And earn a lot of Battle Trophies to boot.

Good luck with the Albel one---I can't seem to do it all that great. His anti-air has been very finicky and sometimes decides it only wants to connect for one hit which doesn't provide enough airtime for Charge to launch again.

Never tried Adray. He does have that awesome Aerial... you must be getting a blast out of that combo.

I Wanna Post A Cheat I Have An Account, Ethereal Lew I Used It For Some Posts In VP Oh, And The Cheat I Wanna Upload Is This, When Your Bar Is Almost Full, The Bonus You First Get Depends Which Type Of Attack Finish Filling It...If You Full It With A Minor Attack, It'll Give You EXPx3, If You Full It With A Major Attack, It'll Give You Folx2, If You Full It With A Battle Technique, It'll Give You Increase Healing After Battle AND If You Use Symbology, It'll Give You Items Adquisition Up I Alreadyb Tested It LOTS Of Times

I know what you mean about Albel's anti air <_< Only I have attack decisions for extra hits but that doesn't always work for launching the enemy high enough either.

I haven't actually used Adray's Aerial w/th Peppita's Charge that extensively yet It was indeed a blast when I was testing it though. I need to use it more definitely. Adray's only L18 on my current file though.

A question - do you have any interest in doing a Dream Hammer series of videos at all? I've been defeating the Sphere bosses within a minute with Pep and L10 Dream Hammer w/th Shielding Devices but I have no way of recording it

Best of luck if you submit that cheat, Lew. It can be pretty helpful knowing that depending what your Bonus goal is---I used to hate waiting up to 15 battles sometimes for Triple EXP...

Yeah, relying on Maria too much can have a bad effect on some people's opinions toward other characters. I dinnae like when her in-battle awesomeness is used to belittle all the Fayts/Nels/Cliffs/Rogers/Albels/Sophias/Peppitas/Adrays out there.

I like balanced usage and finding strengths to bring out in everyone, despite what may be "better" overall.

I see. After reading the thread you mentioned on that site, it looks like Marty81 has a really cool idea for a 3-character juggle between Peppita, Adray, and Fayt.

Hope he vids one soon. That or expanding on his Whirlwind/Aura Wall deathtrap with a possible third character dealing background damage.

Sure do have an interest! When I get to that point again I'll be sure to record all the bosses where Dream Hammer is applicable. If you've been enjoying continuous reloads bashing Sphere bosses repeatedly with the hammer, maybe I'll have some fun too. Unless your feelings came from a sadistic origin
