One of my favourite things about Star Ocean Till the End of Time is the ability to make all sorts of equipment set ups for your characters - especially with Peppita in the team as she enables you to use all sorts of different factors and yet still max ATK with Power Dance

I love tinkering around Well at least once I've amassed millions of fol using a money weapon so I don't end up poor after.

Synthesis can be so darn expensive sometimes in this game - I think I had to pay half a million fol just to synth something onto one of Fayt's weapons o_o

I'm usually too lazy to do much before getting a money weapon It's only really mass boots of prowess manufactoring that's really expensive though so sometimes if I can be bothered and have enough money I'll dress up Maze of Tribulations weapons for my team

So ... let's post our equipment set ups here

I'll start -

~*Uber MP Tank Peppita*

Lunatic Shoes
Raging Anger
+20% Max MP
+20% Max MP
+20% Max MP
+20% Max MP
+20% Max MP
6% MP Regen
No HP damage/-3 Fury

Armour - Valkyrie Garb

Accessories - Tri Emblem + Victory Trophy

Convert Damage to MP (Preserve HP) + Berserk ON

All mp increasing berries used on Peppita at L255 - do NOT use these berries or their cousins the hp increasing berries at lower levels or they will not have maximum effect (this applies to all characters) - in this order magi+ berry, magi+ berry, magi+ berry, magi berry, magi+ berry, magi+ berry.

Short X - Power Dance
Short O - Kaboom/Faerie Friend/Dream Hammer/offensive skill of choice
Support - Critical Hit MP + Max Fury for moves that also deal MP damage like Dream Hammer, Max Fury + First Aid otherwise.

With this set up Peppita will have well over 40'000 MP for durability yet will still be able to contribute offensively in battle as well thanks to Power Dance. Pwnge For Dream Hammer usage use the -3 Fury as the last factor on the weapon or for two 300% Faerie Friends do the same. If you're happy with just the one Faerie Friend or are using something else entirely use the No HP damage 30% of the time factor for a chance of some extra durability.

*No HP damage factors are factored in before HP damage is converted.

Well I had over 50'000 MP with Peppita once but I can't remember if that was with five or with six +20% MP factors No other character apart from Maria can get their MP that high and yet still be able to wield mass damage in battle also

If Maria is to be team's MP tank (i.e if one is not using Peppita or Nel in the same team - if one is it's better to give it to them since being more short ranged characters than Maria they are thus more likely to get hit than her) feel free to feed her the MP increasing berries at L255. She'll get more than 40'000 MP and have max ATK from the full set up as well

Battle Trophy + the doll thing that revives you after you die.

Berserk on.

With the battle trophy, he can use up a lot of Air Raids and stuff (with max strength/attack, obviously), and with Berserk and the trophy together, he freezes when he hits (have Cliff with his Max Shockwave for the second hit to break it) and uses uip very little HP for the Air Raid + Eth Blast combo.

The + enemy thing on the Levantine I just use to make battles more interesting. lol.

Fayt's firework weapon For the last factor +3 attack decision should be put on to max attack decisions if the Victory Trophy is being used on someone else. If Fayt has the Victory Trophy feel free to put on another fireworks factor for the last factor

I used this set up with Peppita and Power Dance and her counters with a fireworks weapon and Sophia with a fireworks weapon too They were MP killing enemies like crazy.

I meant to finally make Fayt an upgraded one with the "powerful" versions of the shoot/emits ball factors but I forgot

The doll thingy is a Clone Generator btw Sometimes invaluable in solo character games.

The armour is Valiant Mail I think

I never knew you were THAT into SO3, MaidenofWar, though it should have been obvious, I didn't figure it out. I'm not so much into one specific game series, but RPGs in general, except for the Tales of series, which I totally LOVE!

Ah. I tried something like this one day when I got bored.
It was when I took a.....can't remember it, but I put EVERY 'emit ___ when attacking' item, and even managed to squeeze in there a few 'emit ____ when being attacked'.
That was awesome.
I even ended up lagging the game!

Ah. Yeah, it's been about a year or two since I've played the game. Tis a mirable I can remember anything about the game. lol.

Oh man this reminds me of when I tried that insane thing. It was like "survive on HP" or something and I had all the slots filled, and it was a 250% chance or something. Still ended up dieing from it, somehow.

I'd be into RPGs in general more if a) I had more money and b) they actually got released over here!

(they didn't bring out Wild Arms 2 and Wild Arms Alter F out over here *sniff*)

Yeah I pretty much know S03 inside and out probably because I just play the darn thing so much :P I'm kinda tired of the FF series (except Aerith and Tifa but my PS2 won't backplay PSX games), I like Legend of Dragoon but can't play that either, FFX2 and FFXII were my latest final fantasies but the first I can't see me playing long term and the second is just too big o_o I have to have some sort of life

I have Silent Hill 4, 3 and 2 (haven't played 4 yet) but they don't last me as long as RPGs

So the only thing I'm really into right now apart from the SO series is Suikoden V and my Christmas treat to myself of Valkyrie Profile 2

You have SH games? You've haven't played 4? Look at my review of it. I'm a die-hard fan of Silent Hill (makes me wish I had a PSP and 0rigins). Survival horror games never held as much value as RPGs, but that doesn't mean they suck.

Where do you live where games don't come out? I know WA2 and Alter Code F came out in the U.S. (I had ACF, but my PS2 wouldn't read it, so I got it for Radiata Stories, but now I have Wild ARMs 3).

I've seen some of SH4. It's pretty bad.
Gondor and I even came up with video taping me randomly chomping at the player and figured it would be scarier than what they put in there.

Aw. That would have been helpful to know before putting an entire Veinslay with ALL no HP damage and another one with ALL no MP damage.
Started doing one 1/2 and 1/2 and ran out of materials. lol.
