Star Ocean: Till the End of Time's messed up party system
Recently, I've encountered a huge problem with SO3's party system.
Normally, you must have the following party members: Fayt Cliff Nel OR Albel Sophia Maria Mirage Adray Do you see something wrong with this!? You must have 7 characters in your party by the end of the game. Meaning you can only choose one of the following: Roger Peppita Nel OR Albel Does anyone agree with me that this is seriously messed up? I mean there are certain teams that cannot be made due to this horrific flaw!

I agree. They should fix this. I wonder if it has the same problem in CC.

Well...In CC if you choose one character you cannot choose 1 of the other characters...But I think almost all combinations of teams are possible...

Actually, in itself there is a team that cannot be made in SO3. Nel, Albel, and anyone else. I think that in itself is annoying.

Yes you can. If you get Nel or Albel, and you still don't have your ONE optional party member, you can get the other, whichever one you didn't get at the end of Disc 1.
See, Gondor and I had this joke called "Albel and the kids", in which Peppita and Roger generally annoy the crap out of Albel, and then Gondor suggested one of us make that an actual party. Turns out that, because of that, you can't have Peppita and Roger in the same party, anyway...

Actually, that trick only works if you get Nel. The only way you can get both is if you get Nel and then wait until near the end of disk two (you have to turn down both Pepitta and Roger) and then beat Albel using only Fayt.

Not true. You can get Albel first, then Nel second. Just say the right thing to Nel in Disc 2 and she'll be in.
