Defeated Freya!!! Cannot Believe It!!!!

HIYA EVERYONE I'M SOOOOO EXCITED!!!
I just cannot believe it...i was just fighting,And she just died O_O
i'll tell you my strategy...
I Put Maria And Albel on manual...berserk only active on maria...at the very beginning,i take albel to the corner of the room,then i hit freya with fayt,and she persues him to the oppsing corner...then i started smashing her with maria's simple attack+aiming device+energy burst. and fayt used explosion all the time(dunno why O_O he always does that) And Well,when she used ether strikle,albel used a duck duck bomb,or maria used aiming device,if i failed,maria and fayt die,i use analeptic,and if freya goes after albel,i just used maria to get her back(attacking her so she comes after me) and well,i had to use lots of reviving items but well,now i'm starting my universe file,i'm thinking of this time using fayt-maria and sophia...the best team ever!!!

Well, be glad to count yourself among those who have defeated the almighty Freya of SO3.

Sophia is a w**** and is dumb as s***. When you need her to heal, she'll cast attack spells like Meteor Swarm to take up as much MP as she possibly can so she has a excuse to not heal you (I died many times on Freya simply due to the fact that she would almost refuse to heal me). Luckily, you can use Albel instead.
Maria, is just full of cheap shots. Using the combo you did, you can kill almost anything without much of a fight. That's partly why I never use Maria. If you really want a challange, choose another party member like Peppitta or Roger to replace her. They have equally good abilities that will still give you a challange without juggling enemies like crazy giving you an unfair advantage.

Albel was indeed used for his best team role there - that as item/stunbomb body in a corner.

That's what I keep end up having to do w/th Albel as he kept getting creamed by Universe Freya and my MP Tank Peppita had to babysit him and Cliff until I put Cliff on L/R Max Shockwave and Albel in the corner <_<

Then I got "Defeat Freya at Universe in 20 minutes" once I did that thanks to Faerie Friend and Max Shockwave team combo pwnge w/th Albel on hand to heal or use the rare stunbomb if needed.

Sophia's role is not that of healer but of stunlocker/interrupter. She should have all spells turned off in symbology menu except the ones you want her to use and Thunder Flare or Explosion set to her battle skills slots.

She can also do incredible MP damage w/th a proper MP damage set up for her long range physicals and same HP wise w/th her Short O but that's a different story ;p
