Then try picking it up. G3 is probably the best one. Pretty easy to find, and a pretty basic console nowadays (PS2).

Grandia I is for the PSX...
Grandia II is for the Sega Dreamcast or the PS2... Grandia Xtreme is for the PS2... Grandia III is for the PS2... and Grandia 1-Xtreme were not Squaresoft or Square Enix games just to get that straight. They were developed by Game Arts/Ubisoft. After Grandia Xtreme was fairly unsuccessful Square-Enix bought the franchise and release the fourth title (which is actually Grandia III) for the PS2 in 2006. [Edit]Oh and yes, the series is definitely worth your money, the first two were the best IMHO.
