Nobody would hate you for living in Russia anymore. In the 1980's during the Cold War (check your history books, kids), maybe we would talk bad about you. Now, not a problem at all.

Believe me, I lived through the Cold War anti Russia propaganda that ran on TV every day. If you didn't wave a U.S. flag, you was a Russian spy, and hauled off to a location like Gitmo now. Glad that is all over now. The new propaganda is anti terrorist.

I'm not THAT old ! I am not a big history buff, really. I just remember the Cold War of the 80's because I lived through all that.

If I remember from school, Pearl Harbor was in the mid 40's. Around the time my parents were born (my mom is in her 60's). I didn't take offense from it, though.

Well, dunno. The only thing I payed attention to in history classes were the historical wars, where the teacher and I would swap tactics back and forth concerning that battle....I always won.
