Yes. DWD is the first Digimon game I've played in almost 10 years (except for DW4, but I'm trying so hard to disown it.), and it's a hell of a lot better than DW4.

DW4 wasn't that bad.

It's not really DW style, but it was good.

Why disown DW4, though? It's not your style, given, but no reason to disown it.

No, but I must destroy it. Just like Jade Cocoon 2.

DWD is actually quite good, but my TV and VCR decided to work again for no good reason, so I'm taking the advantage of it by playing Persona 3 FES on Normal (actually started on Hard, but learned that in order to get though it, it required carrying over specific things that I didn't have the time or patience to acquire in the original game and trying to progress would mean serious r-pe from everything, including normal monsters.).
