I would like to grade these X/10 if thats ok with you instead of 20.
Storyline - 6/10 Sound - 8/10 Gameplay - 7/10 Value - 9/10 Graphics - 8/10 Storyline: When it comes to Animal Crossing you will find there isnt really much storyline to it. The game starts you out in the back of a taxi with Kapp'n asking you where you are heading. Your character is looking to move away to a new town and start out fresh. When you wind up in your town the game randomly fixes it with shops and houses in different odd and ends places. No one town is the same. As you arrive you find Tom Nook, the local shop owner. He then informs you that he has had a house built for you and that you owe him money. The rest of the game your trying to pay him back for the house he has built for you, but no worries its not due until you come up with it. Each time you pay this shop keep his money he upgrades your house again making you owe even more than last time! Sound: The sound of Animal Crossing is really great. On certain days you can go into the local coffee shop to find K.K. Slider who plays a new song each time you visit. After hearing the song you "Unlock" it for your own home. Inside your home you can have a radio which will play the songs you get from Slider. Gameplay: The main concept of the game is to reach the largest upgrade for your home. Each time its paid off you get a bigger house. Each upgrade will add on one floor to your home, either up stairs or the left and right. The player has the choice to do chores, fish, design patters which can be used for clothes, wallpaper, hats, ect., and much, much more. The time in the game corresponds to real life, so if the player's clock is set right, when it is 6:00 PM in real life, it is 6:00 pm in the game. Value: Replay value is extremely high. Once you get the last house there is so much more to do. You could collect all of the furniture, collect all the floor and wallpaper patterns, and try to fill up the museum with all the bugs and fish. Also collecting rare items such as Starfox's Arwing or The Legendary Triforce. People of your town CAN and WILL move away if you do not make friends with them and visit often. It is quite fun to watch them move away and see how many new ones you can see come and go. Graphics: The graphics of Animal Crossing are great for the DS. Everything you put in your house shows up great and fully colored. The town is full of colorful characters and plenty of terrain. As the seasons change so will your town! This is my first Review i hope it was ok. Please feedback is needed. |
