A dark cold relatily
it's hard to forget that it's real
you think you're going to wake up to a peaceful world
but no. the world that is full of hate and depression is your world

i hate to wake to this world
afraid of it's crule ways
afraid of another day
i want to keep sleeping

I never want to wake up
i want to dream until the end of time

but it's not possible
i get up every morning
wanting to close my eyes and go back to the land of dreams

i wish to go back where it's warm and safe
but i have to live in this world
i want to live in a warm land of makebelieve
to be able to fight crime and have a tail

to have friend of all kinds
to deat the evil master of that world
and save the day
but no

it's not possible
not if i'm not asleep
so i cannot await the night
to close my eyes and sleep.
