It about a Gunslinger named Roland armed with revolvers made from the sword Escalibur and is the last of an ancient line of holy knights and his quest to find the Dark Tower a place where all time and dimensions become one. And a Crimson King who at all cost wants 2 destroy the tower so all worlds will be destroyed along with himself who cannot die because he is immortal and cursed to roam the endless Abyss. He uses all his power to stop Roland from reaching his goal and stopping him from reaching the Dark Tower and destroying his plans. Its one of Stephens Kings best books and worth reading through the 7 books its released on. Its a lot more in depth than that but thats just the basics of the story.
