i need help with the sephiroth battle

Use nothing but elixers and have the menu open on an elixer so you only have to press X to use it. Then, when he starts to use his One Winged Angel attack, you can mash X after you get hit by it and it'll fully heal you.
Just keep doing that and you'll get past that. That's about the hardest part, and the rest is just blitzing him and dodging his attacks.

Though, don't expect there to be any "press triangle to make the baddies go away" thing like in KH2.

Ugh. That concept was crap.

My strategy: Keep running from him until he performs his Firaga Wall attack, at which, he'll be open to attacks for a short amount of time. Once he's reduced to 4 1/2 bars or less, he'll start to run around, try to anticipate where he'll teleport, then block his attack and quickly counterattack. Stay close to the arena walls around this phase, because he'll always reappear up against a wall when he pulls off his Sin Harvester attack. If you're close enough to him, you can cancel the attack, but if not, then get to the opposite side ASAP, then wait to use an Elixir right before the spell connects. Timed correctly, the Elixir's effect will hit Sora immediately after Sin Harvester hits. After a while, he stops doing that and attacks you in a mad frenzy be either performing Firaga Wall, Super Nova (Cast Aeroga as the attack begins and restore shield when necessary), or a cluster of dark bombs. His attacks are also harder to avoid and/or block, so Aeroga is a must for this fight. He won't use Sin Harvester much, but he can do it at anytime he wants, and he won't telegraph when he tries to pull it off so easily. Pay attention to what he's doing and follow these somewhat simple guidelines and you'll be victorious after a few tries, or maybe one...

Hell with typing it. I do something totally different than that, other than the Sin Harvester thing.

Here something simpler...Hit him till he drops. Just make sure u can hit the action button and have a lot of elixirs.
