I want to be remotely optimistic about this new title. Unless the battle system is like CoM, I hated CoM.

Good lord .hack blows on an extreme level. Atleast the one i owned did. It wasnt .hack//GU it was those first ones that came out. The ones where you play as the kid with the bracelet thingy that could battle corrupt file monsters or something of the sort. I couldnt stand that game. It was like a fake MMO lol. Whats the story to GU?

Well, the one you played was with Kite and all of them and I never played those, but heard it's pretty good.

Anyways, I have a review on G.U. vol. 1 in the reviews section, so you can check that out. I didn't write it for nothing.
Oh and as soon as I finish vol. 2, I'm gonna write a review for it too, so expect that.

He's trying to avoid the fact that the games are the exact same, except in looks and some parts of the gameplay.
