KH had an exceptional storyline and did things that other games have never done before. They mixed fun with a serious storyline and even got Disney in there. The battle system was fantastic and the controls were great. There isn't really much to say about KH other than that it was great, but it lacked all the flash of KH2, but definately made up for it with the gameplay. KH2 was just plain crap. It's an interactive movie made of minigames. The entire game was nothing but sidequests and minigames with hardly any storyline at all, and what storyline was there was nearly all cutscenes. There's nothing in there to make you want to keep playing the game to see what happens because there's no main storyline that really gets your attention and almost no strategy to battles other than reaction commands and button mashing. They even changed most of the characters' personalities, which also made the storyline less attractive and by throwing in a ton of new characters they made it harder to adapt to the game itself other than that the gameplay in itself has almost completely changed from the original game. The only upside to it was that it looked good.

Well....
The storyline for KHI was excellent. When you got to a world, about 1/2 of them were based off one of the movies. When your characters got there, they weren't a simple interference in the story of that particular world, they BECAME part of it...it was like playing through the movie in its own way. KHII tried to do the same thing...but they made it way too mini-game heavy. It seemed to get in the way of all else, and well....Sora didn't seem to make such a significant impact in the stories as he did in 1. |

Very true. Also, as he waws saying, you don't really make that much of an impact because they used the characters, but not as effectively as they could. For example, The Lion King. There, you get transformed into a lion (which actually isn't a bad idea for the feeling of fitting into the area) but there's almost nothing from the movies in there. It's almost all just problems of Sima's they made up on their own so it also felt like you didn't know what you were doing.

No...your first visit there was all based off of the first movie, but they didn't exactly include the important bits and pieces needed. The second visit...let's not even get into that.

Yeah...that's a good idea, but that kick might go to their brains and they may never make another good game ever again. You do that, and SO4, if it'll ever exist, will suck, or be a direct sequel to SO3, and we know there shouldn't be one.
