Question for the admin

Hey just got a little question I would like to ask

I recently bougth Vb for my website like your has and I wanted to install the rpg hack which you use on my forum. but it says that it is for version 3.5 but i am currently upgraded to Version 3.6.5, so I was just wondering how you guys got to use your rpg hack if your VB is upgraded to.

ok... many persons have this problem...

1 - download - vb3.5
2 - download rpg hack
3 - install vb
4 - install rpg hack
5 - upgrade vb to lastest (3.6.x)

Its the only way you'll pass step 6 of the rpg hack installation...

Now... Don't do that online!! if you mess up the forum, it will be quite hard to recover the damage done...

Download Easyphp (gooooogle it... :P) and then start a localhost server, do all the things there, and then when it works, send everything to your server and mysql...

If you have any question... ask it... I'm almost a pro at this... I've done it like... 15 times... with different versions of vb, and vbplaza and others...

my forum was hacked this afternoon,, pretty bad one to lost 10 members and 200 posts,

but i was wondering has this ever happend to you? or no any good security features I can add on my board?

Nop... never happened before... I got hacked with other softwares I used, but never with vb... make sure from now on you backup your mysql database once a week, or at least once a month... I don't need to do that, myself because my webhosting company does it every day...
