No, not everyone knows Gurdy is a moogle, because maybe not everyone played FF XII
And you don't have any way to know if there are chocobo farms or not in FF XII's world, there are parts of the world you never get to see. And besides, who cares?

Didn't play FFXII, but since the game is set before the time of chocobos, they had to evolve from something, no?
