Sell it. If the spell you want is the first one on the sell ist, then sell them both and buy whichever one you want.

No. Both spells are already equipped when this happens. That means that no matter which one you pick in battle, it'll cast only one of them in battle. You have to use the method I stated above to fix this. I have had this problem before on other sites. I know what to do about this problem.
