Well...
They did make a .Hack game that was online. It was .Hack//Fragment. You could play online and offline. But it's servers were taken offline. It wasn't really that great. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.hack//fragment

Ah. I've seen a few attempts of sites trying to imitate the game itself, but they were poorly made and none of them came to be anything worth noticing. The only one I even actually tried to play had so many bugs in it that despite my waiting over a month for support and the help, I still couldn't even get in.

lol i signed up for fragment and only played it once as for the the dot hacks i've got and played them all apart from gu vol 3 still waiting on that one >< um i would say vol 3 of the first dot hacks was my fav tho
