So...I need a new rpg

Well im in the mood to play a RPG again. Got any good ones to lay on me? I would kinda prefer something on the short-ish side. Maybe a 20-30 hour game.

Excellent RPG. If you want to do every last thing in the game (like I did) it will take you probably 80 hours (took me 81), but if you skip the extras like quests and such, it's easy to beat within 30 hours.

Try Tales of Legendia...if you want. It can take you plenty of time to beat it. Not a whole lot of sidequests, but the ones that do exist are challenging and fun.

Wait! As I was flipping through my games for the 'Games you've beaten' thread, I came across Grandia III. Good game, and I even wrote a review on it. It takes about 30 hours to beat, but about twice (or even four times) that to get them anywhere near max level. It's the best game for the alloted time and difficulty you have mentioned so far.

Star Ocean: Till the End of Time

Excellent game. A slow beginning but once you get into it, the story picks up the pace.

Almost hundreds of hours of gameplay and sidequests. Where in the hell can you go wrong with this?

lol its ok i already have Star Ocean Til The End of Time. So far i think ill go with grandia III. Grandia II for dreamcast was easily one of my favorite games of all time ever. I hope III can live up to what II done.

Well, don't be surprised if you're dissapointed. G3 is a good game, but it's more of a 7.8/10 rather than what G2 did (from what I've heard).

Good suggestion. Though, that's only for the first time through. If you want to get ALL of the ending, then it will take far far longer.
