ps2/gamecube it was called REX for no reason i guess but thats what its called you play as a girl in a mansion and if you kill the zombies they come back to life but harder and they do that 3 times
1) easy (slow classic zombie) 2) medium (faster harder zombie) 3) hard (freedy cruger come out of walls/ceiling and disapearing zombie) |

That can be one of two games.
1.Resident Evil remake-You play as a girl in a mansion where zombies come back to life. ~or~ 2.Resident Evil Code:Veronica X.

Yeah, that must be it because the Remake isn't on PS2 and Code:Veronica X is on PS2 & Gamecube.
