Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World

On Wikipedia it says this game is a "spin-off" Tales sequel. Does that affect the quality of the game somehow compared to a non "spin-off" Tales game? If so, in what ways will it probably be different?

God knows...but didn't it have a different name originally?

ToS itself sounds interesting (partly due to the fact that it's the prequel to Tales of Phantasia), and isn't this sequel going to be released on the Wii?

Atleast the old characters are in it for it being a spin off. I freaking love Tales of Symphonia. Its probly the best RPG ive ever played, right next to grandia II. I for one cant wait for this because the Wii really needs more good games.

Seeing as that was a negative connotation, how will it being a spin off affect the game's quality as a Tales title? Will the story or story presentation be worse? Graphical splendor? Battle System? Skits? Music and sound? Length? Huh, huh, huh? =o

oh calm the hell down. All i meant was atleast the old characters are actually back in some way instead of it going down some other path and leaving them behind, like most spin offs tend to do. I would play it either way because the first one was so good.

I would love to play the ToS sequel, but I haven't even played the first ToS (don't have a GC..T_T).
