Have you seen it?

I think they did a pretty good job adapting the story from the first SH game. I don't think adding elements from SH2 (like Pyramid Head) was necessary, but it was neat nonetheless. Besides, I can't think os such a fearful enemy in SH1.
I lmao at how Dahlia changes from the game in the movie. I love the work of that actress, but I don't understand why did they change the character =/ I liked the new Dahlia better =P
On the other hand, I get tired of how these days horror movies have a lot of disgusting things, like tearing off flesh, instead of actual terror, but I guess it was unavoidable for Silent Hill.

I thought it was God-awful. They hardly had any level of originality to the storyline, they had to practically mesh in multiple elements from the first 3 SH games, like Pyramid Head. I wanted to see something fairly original, and instead I watched this utter piece of crap!

Further more...WTF DID THEY DO TO CYBIL!? OH MY GOD SHE'S BUTT UGLY IN THE MOVIE!!!! THE NEW PYRAMID HEAD TOTALLY SUCKS TO THE OLD ONE!!!!

I actually liked what they did with Dahlia, it wasn't that bad...but the rest seriously sucked. I'm a die-hard SH fan, and I thought this movie just had almost NOTHING original to it...it kinda sucked, no...it really sucked.

Well, when it comes to videogames movies, I like them to be exactly as the game is =P This was not like that, obviously, but I think it gets much closer to it than the awful RE movies =/

I've never played the original game (except demos but they had that annoying time limit feature) so the story was pretty much a new experience for me. Though I agree Pyramid Head being there was weird o_o

But hey it's Silent Hill!

I wish it was like that for me. I hate the SH movie like most RE fans hate the RE movies. It was incredibly unoriginal, with slightly original twists to it. It really didn't work out like that for me.

That is because the RE movies are set up from the BOOKS of resident evil! Not the games

also I just now realized pyramid head wasnt in the first one. and gondor what elements did they put from the third one? i didnt play that one so maybe you could kinda....tell me?

That's what I want to know! I think it's the fact that Rose is supposed to look like Heather from SH3 or something like that. And P. Hiddy was in the second game, the best SH game EVER in my opinion.

ALSO how can they expect to make more if they cram all of the games into the one movie?

Riiiiiight. I'm guessing the ending to that horrible movie (the only thing remotely interesting about that movie) would open up for a sequel, in which it's based of the plot of SH2, but they f-ck that up to no end and the game somehow involves Walter Sullivan as the main villain. That's what Silent Hill 2: The Movie would be like, I'm pretty sure.

How far did you get in SH2, anyways?
