Not as scary as it once was?

Resident evil games have never scared me in general, but RE4 made me jump atleast once when those random things burst out at you. Althought the iron maidens were the one thing that freaked me the hell out with their breathing you can hear. Dino crisis did indeed scare me when i was alot younger. Man i miss old school dino crisis...

Yeah, the zombies is the actual Resident Evil but if you have played Resident Evil 4 and payed attention to the clips, you should have noted that Resident Evil 4 is connected to the Umbrella corporation.

well ive played the PS2 version and its kick ass. the scariest parts are when you hear the regenerators but you cant see em and the other one is when you fight the little dude's bodyguard while waiting for the elevator doors to open.

Mix. the controls to re4 were better, i think, then the other onez, but synchpedro is rite, u cant just forget the zombiez and umbrella, tho, in re4, luis, the mysterious spainard, did mention that they did have hold of a sample of the virus that umbrella created, and since they started out tlkin about umbrella i think that they will b bringing it back

RE4 was so much about action that it's not scary, it just pumps a li'l but of adrenalyne. Classic RE games had that special and dark atmosphere, it was unique. That is lost in RE4
I'd like, however, a mixture between the two systems, it's cool jumping through windows and all =P

The games that scared me the most were the Silent Hill games. I mean, how messed up do you have to be to come up with those... things?

Dino crisis also scared me back then, good times =) dinos took a lot of bullets to die X_X

I quite don't know, I only played Resident Evil 4 on PS2, and I kinda liked it, it was the only 3rd person shooter I played on the PS2, usually I can't get control of the weapon, so i can't shot for the head, but this one was pretty smooth tho... I played Resident Evil 2 or 1 on the Sega Saturn tho, and that one was really scary !!
