How do the console making companies ALWAYS time the breakdown of their consoles at the PERFECT time for the players to get it because their old console broke?
Like take my PS2 for example. It broke at JUST the time when the PS3 came to America and was released to the public. Same thing happened to my PS1 when the PS2 came out.

Could they have some kinda little chip in there that makes it burn out when they push a button or something? o_o

nah i dont think so maybe its just a build up of dust or overheating parts (its just a guess) but you do have a point my x box broke just as the 360 came out (cant say the same about my 360 its broke 3 times and i had to send it away the 4th time it broke i repaired it myself dam 360's) oh but the ps3 works for s**t keeps overheating (im sticking to pc gaming for now since my computer will run high speck games)

It's not dust because when my PS2 started acting weird, I always clean it and check to make sure that the optic is working and all that. It MIGHT be that it overheats since I do have it on for months on end, but even then it didn't break until the PS3 came out. Didn't even show a problem with it until the PS3 came out.....

Yes! It's the chip!The one in yours just took longer to react. Though, I'm not sure they've released the PS3 to the masses there yet. Which, I think is why they make them regional. Like that only a German PS2 will play German PS2 games and so forth with Europe and North America. This way, they can push the little button that makes all the PS consoles in that section burn out when they release it there. o_o
