It's not that it's really a bad game, it's more that it's a bad sequal. The game is all flash and no substance, which is a very poor followup to a game like KH that had all of these great things in it and still looked great. My nephew loves KH2 because he started playing both games at the same time and likes the flash mroe than the substance because he's gotten so caught up in KH2 that he hasn't had time to play KH.

Whatever. All flash and no substance is right. Too many boss battles were just a lot of mini-games with only about a minutes worth of fighting. Sometimes more....sometimes....

Yeah. Minigames are fun an all, but not something to base an entire game off of. In fact, I can't remember a boss battle that didn't have something to do with a reaction command as a major role in the battle.

Half the posts in this thread arent even about Final Mix. Its just us fighting over if KH,KHII and KHIII are any good. :\ Maybe we can get back on topic? or make another thread for fighting about gameplay.

KH2: FM, as I said before, is probably Square's last chance for me. I just hope they made the battle system better by not using so many minigames and reaction commands in battles. Don't get me wrong. It was fun and all, but they just WAY (can't emphasize that enough) overdid it on minigames and cutscenes. The game itself is more of a plothole filler and interactive movie than anything.

Well they're just going to add stuff from what I've heard and seen, but I think those extra boss battles won't be so mini-game heavy.

Yeah. Hopefully the "improved" battle system just means there isn't as many mini-games and such.
