Okay. Vaan is okay, but he isn't the "superior" party member. All the party members in the game can ultimately be equal in power when you give them the correct weapons, armor, etc.

Exactly. That's true in any RPG. I could take one of my mages and make them do max damage and then have my warrior casting spells. Just like in FFX when I did that with Yuna and Auron. Just because they're the main character doesn't make them the most powerful character.

Exactly. Even thought I've only played this game's demo, I've played enough games that are very similar to it. Therefore, I know a lot about this type of RPG, so I know what I'm talking about. Just because you beat a game once at 100%, doesn't mean you're an expert with it. When you hae beaten it at least 15 times with 100% completion on every single file and can recall any line from any cutscene in any part of the game without looking at any reference, THEN you MIGHT be able to call yourself an expert at the game. kthxbie

I gave a legitimate point, any pro gamer would know that with an RPG you should most often use the characters that won't end up leaving the party at some point in the game.
Also notice; not all of the characters start out with the same Licenses so you would choose a character that would best suit your needs so you don't end up training for hours on end to get the weapon and armor you want. Obviously by the time you have a full license that doesn't matter anymore, but why waste your time when you can just start with someone who is close to your designated license? << Didn't get pwned.

That logic is severely flawed. Just because a party member will leave at some point in the game doesn't make them bad. So yes, you got pwned. Want to argue that? Try telling that to people who have played games like Megaman X: Command Mission or Final Fantasy VII, where at least one party member will leave your party for about half of the game or more.

The logic wouldn't be that you should use a character just because they leave the party, the logic is; you should use characters that stay in the party the most, so you don't end up with a party like; Level 20, Level 20; level 9.
My first intention wasn't to insult you, which earned me yet another infraction from trigger-happy Yoherz. I was just giving an opinion, which I believe I got my ass chewed out for. Hence the comment "*****y much" which was something that could've went unsaid, so sorry if I insulted you, which I'm sure I did.

It's okay. But even with a party that's like...Lv 20, Lv 20, and Lv 9, can easily be fixed.

Doesn't matter if a character leaves or not. In Grandia III, one of the strongest characters leaves the party for about half of the game and only comes back right before the final boss battle. You actually have the most powerful character in the game with the most powerful attack in your team up until that character returns and the aforementioned character leaves and gives the returning character the most powerful attack. That doesn't mean you should abandon her from your party.
It was a warning, not an infraction and I am not trigger happy. I would have chewed out any member that flames another. It's not like I'm picking on you.
