The game, costs money... and you have to pay to play.... kinda sucks.... :S

I think you have 15-day trial if you buy the original game...After the expiration of the 15 days you'll have to pay a monthly subscription....

Yeah, that would be the good idea.... But paying to play?... I mean... If we buy the game why pay?... Imagine if Valve tell us we need to pay to play CS and Halflife???

Most of the online games require a monthly fee to be played because the costs of the maintenace of the servers and the cost of new servers is quite high...I must have in mind that FFXI and WoW for example are MMORPG that need a very good internet connection and a very good server to be played...But there are games that do not need a monthly fee like NWN (NeverWinter Nights), Guild Wars, etc...For more info on MMORPG go to this site:

I personally own the game and have played quite a bit. There is a monthly fee, but when you buy the game, you have a 30-day trial where it's free. The fee is for server maintnence and servers and internet connection and such like l10n said. The only character fee you have to pay is if you have more than one character. You pay only an extra $1 (American) for each additional after the original character.
