I actually had to unequip Aurons one day. I was in an area I....wasnt suposed to be for my level...and I was using tidus to flee. but Auron kept getting his turn first, and because hes kinda slow I kept getting pumbled!

Yeah. I put Auron in Tidus' part of the grid after I mastered his, made him a hell of a lot better IMO.
