Final Fantasy X-3 ?

Who here thinks X and X-2 deserves a final sequel?

Here is my thought on it, how the story would continue...

After defeating Sin, Yuna & her party travels back to Besaid. Landing at the beach, everyone welcomes them home. A big party starts, good food & drinks.
Yuna, doesn't feel like partying. So she heads to bed. Then, she has this really long dream, about X-2. She suddenly wakes up, hands over her heart, because it is pounding. She becomes full of thoughts, as she looks down, trying to regain breath while sitting in the bed. She starts crying, and wipes tear out of her wise and rises her head up, and sees the Fayth. The Fayth walks out of the tent, and Yuna decide to fallow.
Rikku decides to call it for the night, and leaves the campsite. She spots Yuna leaving her tent, she fallows her, and Wakka joins too.
Yuna arrives at the beach, the Fayth tells her something horrible has happen.
Seymour, is taking over the Farplane rapidly fast, by devouring and merging the souls, and soon fiends will burst out of all the temples of Spira. He is becoming unstoppable, and there is only one alternative. To travel back in time, 10 years, to save Seymour, before he becomes twisted. Rikku, & Wakka overheard it, and joins the party.
This means, they will face their past selves, but to avoid confrontation, they would need to change clothes & identities.
This might mean, Yuna, Wakka & Rikku possible might join Braska's party, to journey to Guadosalam. But, when they get there, Jecht might alter the future.

I agree. It would be like the nice way of saying "Ok guys were sorry for X-2, now lets make a real sequel". Sorta...

Would definitely be worth a shot, as long as SE doesn't try to make it completely flashy and no fun otherwise.

If you travel back ten years in time and save Seymour then he wouldn't bother you in FFX, he wouldn't become maister, maybe, and then, the events we knew in FFX would just not happen. So, that would be like, we did this, now we undo it. For me, it sucks


But the title of the topic does remind me of a fake rumor I heard long ago, about a FF X-3 which was supposed to have Rikku as a main character. I didn't believe it 'cause I thought it would have sucked, and besides, Rikku was in all the games so far, and she wasn't very important, not to be the main characters at least.
However, it would be a nice way to give her some background.
Although, if she has to be like the Rikku in FF X-2.. I'll pass..

He Just Had SOME Imagination, OR hought This Before Playing X-2, Obvious, AND If Square Enix Made That, They'd Be Called Stupid-Air-Head-Company-Which-Tries-To-Fix-A-"Mistake"-With-Another-Game. The Cards Are ON THE TABLE, Just DON'T TRY To Change Them

No, it would be called admitting they made a mistake. Trust me, no matter what the critics say, the gamers that didn't like X-2 will appreciate it. The gamers are what decide the sales, not the critics.

Well that could be part of the twist though. It could end up that their actions indirectly affect Seymore, and it ends up making him stronger and getting Anima, without realizing it because it was the only way to seal off his first power, but awoke an even greater one. Or even that you pwn him off all heroically like you do with Jecht, but then you find out that he didn't really die when he fell into the lava (it's a dramatic battle scene, lava HAS to be there) and ended up awakening a hidden power within him that gives him the power of Anima.
I mean hell, you have to kill him like three or four times in the game itself, so I don't see why a little thing like falling in lava would kill him if he falls off Mt. Gagazet and survives.

Of course, I'm sure he meant it to just be a rough draft. Not like the WHOLE thing is based on that one paragraph.

In The Part Yuna Sees The Moogle In Luca And Has All Those Visions When She Was With Tidus, Rikku Says She Loves Someone, And She DOESN'T Wanna Tell, I Think She's In Love With Tidus Too, What Do You Think??
