Well, that's an MMO. It's not supposed to have a storyline in the first place, since the main idea of the agme is to work with other players.
If you're not doing that, then you're missing the entire point of an MMORPG.

Agreed. The ONLY game I like from SE would be SO3, but even then I'm pretty sure they just punched their name on a nearly finished SS creation.
Otherwise, I have yet to enjoy a game made by Enix.

No, it's not at all complicated.
If anything, it's extremely simple when compared to FFX since X actually had plot twists.....new characters.....new areas.....new enemies.....and other such things that keep the game from being one big pile the reptitive junk.
The ENTIRE game of X-2 revolved around finding Tidus.....and that's ALL it was.

And FF X wasn't too complicated either =/ It was all about defeating Sin, and it was too lineal
You can say that the world of Spira was complex, with all it's innovative concepts, like the farplane, the blitzball, and other unique things from the game, but story-wise, it was so simple

Well, FFX at least had plot twists and such. You didn't start out wanting to kill Sin, they made you really want it by showing you the destruction it had done, etc. You even had new enemies that came out of nowhere like Yunalesca and Braska's Final Aeon (or rather, his identity).

In X-2 you had the annoying female whatsherface with her idiot minions that kept popping up over and over, where there's hardly ever any other enemies except sidequests.


Of course, this is just one thing. Should I go on about the plot, the music, the battle system, and whatever else that comes to mind?

Leblanc and her minions reminds me so much of Team Rocket from Pokemon =P

Yeah, but at least Team Rocket had some style and some serious guts earlier on. They even planned to blow up an entire canyon, and all the people in it, to get a few Pokemon fossils for Giovanni.
