well,i had squall,irvine and zell the first time,but then i replaced zell with rinoa,cause there are more cutscenes if she is with squall all the time and cause she is better

I thik Zell is better. He always did a lot more damage than my Rinoa did.
My main party was always Squall, Zell, and Quistis. I would sometimes swap out Quistis for Irvine, though. Simply because of his Armor Piercing shot and that it does 9,999.

My best party was Squall, Rinoa and Zell...

mainly because I think they are the ones that get better along with each other... lol.. XD

mine were squall Irvine and Rinoa irvine cause all the diffrent effects you can cause and there were so many advantages playing rinoa and her dog

Zell definitely holds his own against Rinoa with his Armageddon Fist and Grand Calamity set ups

Rinoa's one of the most powerful characters in the game also though if played right (she actually has the highest base STR stat potential o_o) but I don't like using her. Mainly because I don't like her that much

The dog pwns though.

I'm not sexist. I just hate Rinoa for being a whiney... .. .. dog.. XD;; and Quistis becauseshehitonSquall. ; and... .. actually, I really like Selphie. I just didn't happen to have her in my party the first time I played the game. I think she was the one character that got left behind level wise for one reason or another XD;

It's pretty crazy that Rinoa has the highest STR base level O.o, I mean, she sure doesn't look strong
