when i first played it i didn't find yuffie and vincent,and i had cloud,barret and cid
the second i had cloud,yuffie and vincent
ps:i couldn't defeat the weapon under the sea and the one in the desert,when i enter the battle,it kills yuffie and vincent with the sand tornado and then it kills cloud with hits...and i cannot raise a golden chocobo s i don't have the best materiasTT_TT

You don't need a gold chocobo. My Cloud, Tifa, and Red XIII (whom I named Nanaki after I beat the game the first time so at Cosmo Canyon they would say "His name isn't Nanaki.....It's really.....Nanaki!" ) can all do 9,999 to all enemies (except Tifa who has 4x cut). Though, even I can't beat Emerald Weapon (the one underwater) and Ruby Weapon (the one in the desert), but I will give you a hint for Emerald Weapon.
He is NOT, I repeat, NOT immune to the demi spell. The first five or so demi spells will do 9,999 damage. This is a great way to get his HP down to near nothing.

thanks for the hint,and i have every last weapon and all that,i cannot get the 2x cut to be 4x cut,and i want the chocobo so i get the round table knights...but to get a gold chocbo you need to kill the one in the desert,and i cannot kill it TT_TT
and i did also the same with nanaki DDD

If I can remember I used, Cloud, Barret and Vincent... or Aeris...

I was able to have a Gold Chocobo and never killed the Emerald Weapon... I didn't have the underwater materia... so I only had 20 minutes to kill it... and never made it...

Cloud Cid and Red,

but i had a habit of changing for a while every so often to barret or tifa.

my choice was cloud tifa and barret ,tifa cause her multi hit combo limit breaker was awesome and barret's satelite limit breaker looked devastating

I used Cloud Barret and Aeris.

When Aeris dies, I then used Cloud, Barret (Or Cid) and Tifa

Gold chocobos are easy to get... now children, when a green chocobo and a blue chocobo love each other very much... what do you get?

Answer: A golden chocobo.

Lol, my party basically consisted of Vincent, Cloud and Cait Sith
(all are my favourite characters in FFVII besides Reno )
