It was a pretty great movie, but I think you cou;dn't really appreciate it if you hadn't played and beaten the game. I would give it about an 8.5/10.

I say 6.5/10. It just wasn't as good as I had hoped. The graphics were pretty good, but that was about it, and the story was kinda bland.

I played the game first and then watched the movie, it's an awesome movie! The story might seem crap compared to FFVII, but the graphics, and action keeps you away from the story...

Yeh i played the game back in 1997 when it come out and when i seen the movie it was awesome i give it a 9/10. Thou They should of made the movie a little longer and show some other locations. how come there was no chocobo's i wanted to see how they looked in movie graphics. And the other characters should of been together at the start they only had short movie time.

DMP make an excellent point. They should have shown more of the locations from the game. I'd have liked 2 see how cosmo canyon would look in the movie.
