I enjoyed the game. Small characters in VII finally got some big parts, which was actually enjoyable.

Behind that, I simply enjoyed the battle system as well, it was a turn from alot of things that had been used before.

I totally enjoyed the game and the story. I do not think techinically Square was right on par with other "shooter" type games, but it was good none the less. You know there is even a fallow up to this for the USA cells phones.

"Square's action shooter Dirge of Cerberus makes its way onto mobile phones, and includes a multiplayer head to head mode."

Might add the music was a little bit much for my Final Fantasy taste. They did put out a two CD set that has parts done by the Tokyo Philharmonic that is really good. Most of the music that came for the additional FFVII games was more rock oriented but it too was nice change just like Dirge of Cerebus.

"On the instrumental side, this soundtrack features eleven tracks recorded by the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra"

Yeps you right, sorry if i default to a quote but they do say it pretty good. (didnt mean to derail the thread, the original is great game)

You tube from DVD promo of the game.

Quote:
Lost Episode reveals a missing chapter of Dirge of Cerberus taking place between two events of the latter. It involves the adventures of Vincent struggling to save the world from the evil Deepground Soldiers, a mysterious army of soldiers. Three years after Meteorfall from the original Final Fantasy VII, the world is threatened by the Deepground soldiers, a mysterious army of bloodthirsty warriors. Vincent Valentine learns that the soldiers are searching for him in the hopes of harvesting the Protomateria from his body. He decides to investigate the Shinra Mansion in an effort to uncover the truth about his own past—and the mystery behind the Protomateria as well. Reeve Tuesti's goal is to find information on the DG written by Dr. Lucrecia Crescent. On his way to the mansion, his chopper is attacked by the Deepground. He survives and makes his way to the Shinra Manor, fighting countless Deepground Soldiers and destroying a DG battle bot.

funny how cloud still has to make his dramatic apearance, eh?

I like a lot of the areas in the game...especially the one right after you meet Yuffie and you crash.

I played it but being a First Person Shooter, I kinda had a hard time maneuvering the cursor... without the help of a computer mouse... so I haven't played it much...
