my god........Ruby weapon was the hardest mofo there was ,just looking at that guy put your party in a poison induced death wish comma with variouse otheir status effects he was the only boss i did not defeat........ thank god he was optional did any one else defeat him!

Yuffie: Lvl 92 Magic And Summoning Materias (Aginst Emerald) Only Summoning Materias (Fighting Against Ruby). Oritsuru Weapon. defense Materias
Vincent: Lvl 93. He Was The One Who used The Megaelixirs ALL THE TIME. His Last Weapon (I Don't Remember The Name) And Some Nice Materias. Master Magic Materia (Aginst Ruby).
Everyone Had One Ribbon Equiped.
Cloud Had Champion Belt
Yuffie Had A Magic Upper Item XD
Vincent Had Sprint Shoes.
Remember, You MUST Be Quick, And You MUST Have 9999 HP With All Of Them... There Is A Configuration That Makes TiemStop When You Are Selecting A Command, Put It On If You Want Things EVEN EASIER.

Yeah, I beat him. I used the strategy guide and it helped me. I forgot exactly what I did to beat him though. Heheh. Hard fight though when you don't know what to do!
