If they were to remake FF7.....

I've been thinking about this for a while.... if they were to remake FF7, how would they go about it? Unfortunately I don't play very many video games, mostly just the FF7 compilation so I don't know how they go about it in other games, but I'm not sure what they would do for scenes that they just couldn't turn into cut scenes. What do other games do at points where you just have to go around and talk to random people? For example, setting aside all the risque stuff that would be.... interesting.... with new graphics.... how would they go about wall market.... they definitely cant do cut scenes there.... would they just do what they do in Kingdom Hearts and have text boxes for scenes like that? sorry if this sounds stupid...

I they were to remake FF7, I think they would only better graphics and cut scenes, I don't think they would change any of the storyline, that would ruin the FF7 compilation. Also a voice acting would be nice, because with Advent children graphic type, it would be really lame to put text bubbles.

I think they would also make the battle very active, Final Fantasy XIII style.

Agreed. If they were to change any of it, they would just mess up a lot fo work. They might add more things like they did with KH: FM (more cutscenes and bosses), but the basic fundamentals would be the same. Improved graphics and battle system, as Pacman said, but they would most likely keep the same battle system for the die hard fans, or make some kinda option to switch between them (maybe two different versions of the game).

Maybe They Could Add More Items/Materias/Skills, Erase Bugs, And Launch A Game Of 2 DvDs...The Remake Of FF7 With All I Said With The Same Graphics As Before(Maybe There Is SOMEONE That Never Played It) And The Other One With PS2 Graphics And New Cutscenes And Also NEW Scenes(Because There Are Some Things That They Omitted)

no, wall market, you know, with Cloud having to go around to get all the stuff so he could dress like a woman. The whole Don Corneo thing? back in midgar? I really cant see all that as a cut scene.

(ic) ahem... anyways, yeah i heard the rumor... PS3 correct? with the hardware specs of the PS3 its not that hard to think that it will be of FMV quality ne? Voice acting seems possible too.. FF X have started it anyways.. in content I'd rather not see it changed since thats what made the game so popular. anyways, it took a lot of balancing to get the final product.. iunno.. they can prolly pull it off it they work on it hard XD

true true. they would prolly add more characters with voiceovers.. you know, like how FFXII is. every game character(PC or NPC) in an FMV will prolly have a voice.. even if its only gonna be "hey, yoU!" XDDDDDD
