War of the Lions is a Rescripted version of FFT. It follows the story exactly, but with a much more eloquently written script. As for gameplay it is exactly the same as the PS version, but with a few expanded sidequests, new items and classes and also an additional couple of characters including Balthier from FFXII and Luso who will appear in the future sequel to FFTA. There is also a chain of Multiplayer missions called Rendevous that are very challenging but it utilizes the PSP wireless features which is always nice.

It also offers amazingly animated cutscenes as well as high quality voice acting.

It is arguably the tactical RPG with the largest fan base and it is highly loved for it's story and characters. I highly recommend the PSP version, as since it is a rare higher quality edition of the PS version. I've heard it depicted as a love letter to the original game, for may it stay glorious.

I have both copies, and I highly recommend this game to you.

I highly recommend getting War of the Lions for the PSP.

The game is just awesome. Simple as that. If you love Tactical RPGs then you will be in heaven. The storyline is very complex and filled with twists and turns that keep you guessing the whole way through. Very awesome political drama going on as well.

The characters themselves are very vibrant and compelling. I found myself bonding with many of them along the journey. Not to mention all the job classes and skills. You can combine so many job classes and skills to make the perfect solider for your party.

I love my Final Fantasy Tactics.

I never did beat the game. From what did play it was pretty interesting.

Great game, as said before it's just like the PSX version, but alot better. It's not neccisairaly easyer, it's just if you like to do alot of grinding for levels then it'll be pretty normal dificulty (Well, at least for me).

The multiplayer is awsome if you can round up a frined to play it with, and some of the best weapons in the game can only be ottained from multiplayer (The shop and loot weapon selection is pretty dry, so it's a big help if you want too use obscure weapons like axes and kniteswords). I also suggest getting a hydra the first (and only) time you see one with your oritor, they're very strong, and if you get the third teir version it'll be up to scale, or even better than a generic charictar.
