The hardest for me was FF VIII. Perhaps because I didn't like the system at all, and the story was a little boring for me too. And, after Cloud, I was really tired of the gloomy-type character, I mean, gimme a break. That's why Zidane was so great for me, he brought a nice change.
Anyway, last boss' fight in FF VIII drove me nuts
