I say Tidus, Cloud never cared about Avalanche, at least in the begining of the game, and Squall... well.. "whatever"... about the rest... Zidane... Yuna never! and Vaan... yeah maybe...

I think Vaan was a bit like Tidus.
I think some dude side to Balthier: " Your apperentice is more pirate then you, act first ask questions later." I think Tidus was a bit like that he just wanted to get right down to action.
