Well, Final Fantasy IX was the first I've ever played. Its very appealing. The graphics are really great, the story is good, and the gameplay is nice and original.

I don't know... Maybe because FF fans where expecting something better. I mean, after FF7 and FF8 which have amazing stories, FFIX falls back a little, but I liked it too. And then Final Fantasy X was here with all those new appealing and smooth graphism and cutscenes, and might have led people to "forget" Final Fantasy 9....

so people just dont like the graphics eh? speaking of graphics are there allot of cutsenes in it?
i think theres allot of side quests right? |

that sounds about right...people over hype something and then dump it because it didnt meet their sky high expectations
