Beowulf, no. Beowulf is a movie (a terrible one tbh, actual story is superior).

The actual story is better? Well we're reading it English class and it's rather...I dunno. The version we're reading is vague. They summarized it or something.

I saw the movie to help myself out, but it's so different...

Angelina Jolie as Grendel's Mom is a definite no-no.

And I thought the Beowulf story was pretty freaking awesome. Also, Grendel.

Eh? No-no? But...she was one hott mama (No/maybe a little Homo). I liked her, though I know she should have been the Lach Ness moster looking thing that was really huge and super ugly.

Grendel...I expected a badass.

It depends on how you look at it. I never got a chance to read it in high school (Calif. education is BS) The first time I heard of the story was on Star Trek: Voyager

But as for shows.... the upside down show on noggin ACTION FINGERS!!!

Grendel's Mother is supposed to be this monstrous atrocity, not this hot beautiful seductress.

Also, you might get a better understanding as to why some people consider Grendel is so well loved by Beowulf fans if you read the book "Grendel." It's an awesome book.
