Naruto

[Black Mage]

So i know atleast a few of us really like Naruto. My question is who is your favorite character?

I really like Kakashi alot, but if i had to pick a student i might go with Kiba or Shikamaru.

How about you?

Shikamaru for sure. The man can think on his feet and is always calm and laid back, kinda like me. The others are just a drag on him.

Out of sanins? I'd say Jiraya since he's funny and pervy, like me.
Though, I wonder why Tsunade decided to make a summoning pact with slugs of all things.

Teachers? Kakashi is cool and all, but I think I like Naruto's orignal teacher (can't remember his name). He's kind understanding to the student's conflicts, whereas Kakashi is just like "get the f*** over it and fight!"

I have never seen Kakashi tell naruto to get the F over there and fight, but ok. Kakashi always tries to protect them with his life with his little nindo "team members come first" because of Kakashi Gaiden if you have read it. Naruto's old teacher was Iruka.

I really like Jiraiya myself hes quite funny. I kinda dont like how Tsunade uses her chakra to hide her old age, but its better to see her that way i suppose. Orochimaru really is the best bad guy. Alot of people make fun saying child rapist and all, but i really like how he fights and how smart he actually is.

In part II Shikamaru stops his "eh i dont really care" attitude, and im glad. I hate how hes like eh i dont even care if i stay a genin this is a drag. He gets serious after his teacher (Asuma) gets killed by akatsuki member Hidan.

Iruka, that was it. He's cool.

Well, he deosn't say that exactly, but during the bell training he's pointing out everyone's flaws (i.e. Sakura caring only about Sasuke, Sasuke thinking he was so far ahead of them that they didn't matter, etc.).
It seemed to me he was saying, "get the f*** over yourselfs and work as a f***ing team!"

Yeah. I wouldn't wanna see Tsunade's wrinkly old face.
Then again, if you think about it, how does Jiriaya still look so young? Orochimaru does his (body swapping) thing, and Tsunade hides it with her chakra.....so how does Jiriaya still look like he's only 20 or 30?

I gotta agree with you there. He's not entirely bishonen, and he thinks ahead so as not to get screwed over.

go to Orochimaru just to get enough power to stand a chance of beating Naruto and his swirly little rasengan attack.

lol i agree about sasuke he is kinda overrated, but so is Kakashi meh.

While that is true, if he hadnt done it they would all have fallen apart when under attack instead of working together as they do. Well as naruto and sasuke do anyway sakura never does anything. Shes a whole lot better in Part II because she actually fights.

I really dont know about Jiraiya and how he looks still young-ish. To me, at the same time, he still looks old.

Another thing i really like about Orochimaru is that he uses snakes all the time. When i was a kid i was fascinated by snakes and reptiles, so i like that alot.

I really hate that sasuke had to go to the evil side (since him and naruto worked well together...sometimes).

Its like hes the vegeta of the naruto world. He cant get strong enough on his own so he has to have help. Example being vegeta could never go ssj 4 without that machine bulma made for him as sasuke couldnt get enough power without running to Orochimaru.

It is neat how Sasuke Naruto and Sakura all end up looking like they are the next Sannin.

I know, but that's his way of training. It does work, but it doesn't work all the time.
Yeah, but she's the brains of the group, like most women are portrayed in combat.

Yeah, but it also shows that Sasuke is weaker than Naruto since he couldn't conjure the strength of his own accord, as Naruto did. Same for Goku and Vegeta.

I think it was meant to be that way, since they showed traits that the sannin showed when they were younger (even Naruto and Jiriaya's peeping on girls). Also, I predict they end up as the new hokage/sanin anyways, since they're being trained by the sannin and I'm pretty sure that Naruto mastering the rasengan was enough foreshadowing to safely say such.

If you read the manga Jiraiya has already said that Naruto's father IS the fourth hokage, so i believe without doubt he will master the rasengan no problem.

Oh yea another favorite character of mine is Garaa. He is actually my overall favorite actually, but only in part II. He was a major weirdo jerk in the first part, but that was due to the demon and all.
