Perfect boy/girl

I found this topic to be interesting. A person mention how all guys ( and even girls) want their girl/boy friends to be perfect. Making them dress in tight revealing close, lose weight, exercise, change their hair color, tell them what to say. basicaly control their lives to please themselves.

Personaly I do see this daily, but I believe that girls should not be treated like dolls or toys, but a equals. Yet for some reason or another there are those that would disagree. And what is worse there are those that do think they have to do all that stuff to be with that person. But is being with a person like that even worth it? What is the purpose of it all?

It's pointless if your Girl/boy friend wants you to be something you aren't or someone you are not, because that's wrong and you shouldn't follow that. And you shouldn't have to change who you are just to be with the girl/boy you want to be with. Then there isn't a point. <<

I'm shallow, not to extreme degree. I just won't date someone who is extremely ugly. However, I don't believe someone should have to change their personality or physical appearance to be with someone else. Unless, they just so happen to be a prick, then they might want to consider changing for their own good.

i agree with nick they shouldnt have to change unless its needed...witch it would have to really be needed for me to say something about it

such as if they gain 10 lbs. a week and they say that they're fat then they need to change but its not like they need to change not to perfection just to get better as needed

Yea I think people should change but on their own, but there are some people who need a shove in the right way. I've had plenty of girlfriends that wanted me to change in some way or a nother. But nothings really wrong with me so they can deal with it. Theirs bound to be some one out there that wants me for who I am, right?

Yup. People should be who they are, not who someone wants them to be. The only changes that could be made are guys that are arrogant and/or girlsn that are stuck up and so forth, are the only ones that could change for the better.
