There has been a study (some one wrote it in a book too, I have the link somewhere, I'll post it when I find it.) that proved that children who become violent because of video games are not becoming violent because of videogames, they're becoming violent because they have a naturaly violent personality. Graphics, genera, console, way of play, these things don't really matter, a naturaly violent person is gona be violent if he/she plays GTA or not, and a naturaly passive person will not become a killer after playing condemed.

I still belive that the ESRB should be somewhat inforced (exept on most of todays M rated games, they're usaly only M for things like ragdoll physics and blood coming from something you shoot)

I think they should rate it more on the sex than the violence

In france, if I think about my school years It reminds me that the problems come from several things.
Parents, school comrade...(DNA?) In fact, game, movie and all are not by far the more important factor in violence, sex and all.
Personaly, games were a lot more positive for me than negative.
And finally it's better to kill tons of people in a game than in reality, if then it makes someone kill people in real life like one of his game, it's just game don't fit him or he have been badly educated.

I agree with you. Sometime the game just brings out what is already there in the worst people.
