^ Agreed. I hate people who choose to, "Murder" their child.
They're humans. They're apart of you. Keep them or put them up for adoption. Even if you were raped. Yeah yeah. The rapist probably destroyed their life, but if you do abortion, you are destroying someone else's life also. >>

But you have to carry around a burden you shouldn't have for almost an entire year, how can you say that is fair?

It's not fair. I never said it was fair.
I never thought it was fair. It's just that part of 'murdering' I don't like. Who cares if it's a burden. It's apart of you. Either way, you're going to have to carry the baby with you for almost a year anyway.

Not everyone considers the fetus a person, so is it "murder"
And a lot of people care if it's a burden, it's something they shouldn't have to deal with.

Eh, I could deep into this topic.
However, I shall not. Everyone deserves to live and see the world, with or without a handicap. "Oh, my child will be autistic (spelling?)" or any other mild disorder shouldn't be an excuse for putting them to death. |

The way my mother looks at it; if it doesn't look like a person, or doesn't have a heartbeat then it's techically not alive.
That's like... Saying taking first glances at someone and judging them. [Which I'm sure everyone has done.] Yes, a rape situtation is completely up to the girl carrying the child; because if you stress yourself out during the entire time, then something can go wrong. However, if you carry the baby and then give it up for adoption then you'll be playing more pressure on yourself because you were carrying this child for a nine months. Surely, you and your family -will- grow to actually love the child. Yes, I am highly against abortions. For someone who doesn't even want the child at all because of age or some other reason, they will abort the baby and just continue on with their lives like nothing happened. Think about this; One out of Six pregeancy will end in miscarriage. That's basically saying only 20% of babies will make it to full term, and it's true.. [ ._. Trust me, I know this one well. ] Ask me this question though; even if you abort the fetus, do you still look at it as you're still a mother? Regardless of the fetus being stillborn and you have to actually abort it, like if the baby didn't have a heartbeat that magically stopped for some reason. Something abnormal happened and the baby's tiny body couldn't handle it anymore. That it would completely be a most. Those are the times where I see it being a fine time... Simply because, you can't bring the baby back to life regardless of how long this child stays inside of you. Or I know from experience, carrying a dead baby to full-term and a natural birth is going to be harder than anything. And frankly, the hospital only gives you two choices anymore; a D&C and induced labor. So, you also have to remember those two also, because those are still pretty much called an abortion. |

Honestly. That is single handedly the most vile thing to say to a person who has been sexually abused. What about a girl raped by her father? Would you tell her she shouldn't care if it's a burden, just because you (as someone who has no idea what it's like to be raped and in the position to consider an abortion) have no idea what it's like? I'm not against abortion. For someone to tell me to carry a child as if I have absolutely no right to govern my body, would be sending women back to the dark ages. Do I agree with the killing of a fetus? Of course not. I don't even kill flies, because I think every living thing deserves a chance on this earth. If we feel the need to kill something, how much pain are we in, in order to feel better, we must end another life? That's what I believe, but then you have the complication of difficult pregnancies and rape. Contrary to popular belief the world isn't in black and white. Sometimes, in our society, these things need to happen, like the example I used above. Who are any of you to want to tell a distressed woman that they have no right to do what they want with their body? I don't support the killing of another, but I do understand that there is a need for abortion sometimes. If the woman is at risk and may die due to her pregnancy, would any of you say, "Deal with it!" and then turn a blind eye if she died in labour? Murder is the illegal killing of another- keyword being illegal. Who made laws? Humans. Some things are beyond the law system- try to think outside the box. Self-survival is our birthright. I don't see anything horrific about a woman choosing to save her life and sanity, if she was sexually assaulted.

I believe that it's really up to the parents of the unborn child....If they are worried that they can't provide for and ur in the first 3 months, then u can have an abortion.
Also, if the pregnancy is affecting the mother in adverse ways (i.e. potentially death) then they can abort it.... However, if ur in the last 3 months, and u have second thoughts, have the child and give it up for adoption. That's my opinion

That doesn't make any sense at all...
I couldn't afford to keep my child, but hell, there's something called Welfare. If you couldn't afford to have a child, why did you have sex in the first place? If you're having second thoughts, which would be unbelievable, don't just give the baby up for adoption. Give it to a family member. My god, it's a child that you couldn't wait for, and then SUDDENLY you want to give the baby up. I'm against you with your opinion. And I'm a mother who just lost her child last month. My god, I would have CONTENTLY died to my daughter. I -wished- my heart stopped beating, instead of her's. I wish she had been full-term too, so that she could live on. I wish I had died. So, who says a mother is worried about dying? I sure wasn't... I was more worried about my daughter dying; but it happened anyway. |
