Gay Rights etc.

Well I guess this goes here.
Ive seen this discussion on many, many forums and thought I should see how people's opinions are here. Gays are nearly everywhere, in some places they are excepted, and in other places hated. It is illegal to be gay and against religion to be gay, I think it's sick and disgusting, so what do you think about it? Basically discuss and debate anything about gays here.
I cant type so much as theres nobody to respond to, so sorry if I didn't type more than 5 paragraphs...

The only important notion we must have, being Gay or Straight, is that people are Human. And they must be treated like ones. Of course, if I see two men kissing, I think its disgusting. But its disgusting because we are not used to it.

I think the fact of people hating gays is because they are not used to it, its like lesbians. I could say nature has its mistakes like everything in the world, but those need to be accepted, like any others.

Some religions do not accept that... Dogmatisms... bah... People are not ready to see two men or women together. Its like an anomaly in the system. But its something that cannot be fixed.

So we better get used to the fact that one day, people will be more tolerant for those persons.

I guess there's my point of view about that. People might be what they are... but they are still people.. humans... So we shall respect them like any others.... (but yeah... ewww)....

Yes, I totally agree they are people and should be treated as people but, that does not mean we should just let people do as they wish. It's just wrong seeing a man with a man or a woman with a woman. God created man and woman to be together and not mix up, like having 2 men, or 2 women.
It also creates unbalances, if everyone was gay, there wouldnt be any new kids being born. Same goes for Lesbians.
And I can't imagine what happens when it comes to sex. Lets just not talk about it

Personaly i think its disgusting to see gay men in public kissing cause people are not use to seing that. As a little kid they see they cant get along with girls realy well so they get attracted to guys somehow.

I think it's oohkay to be gay/lesbians. I'm perfectly fine with people
being gay. Although, if I say two guys kissing in public, I'd freak out!

I know a lot of lez's/BI's so I'm pretty much used to seeing that soo..
Gays are things I never see around here. o_o; I'd still be okay with it though. ^-^;

I'm Bi myself...I don't care either way just keep the romance in the bedroom. Give the gays their rights, they are people too.

Why is it fine for one gender to be gay or bi yet the other it isn't? Double standard .-.. All the talk about equality and then that pops up, nothing fair about that at all. I have no problems with gay or bi men or women, as Pacman said, they are people too. They should have the same rights as a straight person, they should be allowed to get married, and adopt children. What makes the average straight person so much more grand than the gay?

Ouch that hurts. So a girl can be a lesbian but a guy cannot be gay? Harsh world. That's like saying only girls can have long hair...or only guys can compete in any sort of competition.
