To be honest... I don't know what emo stands for...

It's someone who is constantly depressed, but can still be happy at times.

Eh, as long as they don't cut themselves or whatever or act all depressed, then I'm fine with them.

Emo is short for Emotional. That's why people call`em Emotional Kids.

I'm totally fine with them. I actually have nothing against them,
because they've probably gone through hard times to get that way.
Been there, done that. Got over it too.

well i donno about them geting over it most emo kids have nothing wrong with them they just have the wrong outlook on life hell i used to be emo and i still love the music its great well most of it anyways.

Yeah, even I used to be emo. For my entire 8th grade year, I never once smiled and only spoke about 3 times during class. Excluding choir, obviously.
The first time I smiled that year was in summer school (to get extra credit) and it actually hurt.

Got nothing against them either. Except if they exaggerate to a high degree about cutting or committing suicide on themselves Honestly, if I meet someone who continuously whines and think negative and wants to die, I get fed up and become *care*. Yes it sounds cold.
I think people becoming emo has to be something from their childhood that dramatize them at this point of life. Or something they struggle with, being alone, nor related.

Yeahh. The only thing I don't like about some is that they become emo for no reason. I used to have a friend (My first wife [Yoh should know who]) who became emo just for the attention she got when she came to school with a new cut. o.o
