I think they are lowering the price because they have finally realized how much of a dumbass they were being. And the fact that most of the game companies werent gonna release games for the PS3 due to the fact that theres not enough consoles bought for the game companies to make any profit.

Very good point. Though, they might not have much choice since the PS2 is dieing out.

well from what i know it was worth buying a ps3 to rip it apart for £500 cos i would have cos me about £1500 to buy the parts for my computer seperatly if i was to bulid it that way
