Windows vista: love it or hate it?

Come on people, Mac has been doing this for so damn long. If you're a Mac OS X user you probably get a strong sense of "me too" when you hear about vista. So why do you love it or why do you hate it.

I don't have it... That doesn't mean I love it, but I like it... lol... I love the image quality of it... It sure is a pain in the ass, about security, my uncle has it, so I was able to explore it a little. Tho its not the best choice right now if you play recent games, or older, because they might not be compatible yet. So I'll only get Vista in 6 months or a Year... or later... I like XP.

XP is the right choice for the moment, plus Service Pack 3 will be heading out eventually soon, I hope.
Vista is a ram hog, however, it requires 1GB of RAM, but that is a standard now days though. I have a laptop with Vista Premium on, and installed a game, it doesn't work. Again what Pacman said, it isn't compatible with many games and drives of course. Luckily Counter Strike Source runs pretty nice.
I don't like the security, because it asks much stupid question. Aero is wicked but I prefer XP interface better though.

So I'll stick with XP for a couple of years, even though if it might become discontinued

You should stick with your XP as long as you can, since the majority of aplications and games aren't compatible with Vista yet. Also, It consumes a lot of your RAM, indeed. It may look nicer and have a nice security system against almost everything, but XP is still the best choice for those who haven't a computer with at least 1 GB RAM and a nice Graphics card...

Microsoft will stop supporting XP 2014, and that is the year I might get Vista. Vista is safer, but XP can also be as safe as Vista, if you have a third party antivirus and ad aware installed.

And I know two people here with 98 which is not being supported anymore XD

Vista is sh!t -.-
I got a new computer with vista pre-installed on it, took about 1 hour to configure it and install remaining things... then it installed some crappy software like Norton, the worst anti-virus...
Since it got nice specs i tried a few things, I installed World of Warcraft, installed OK, but it wouldn't remember any settings so i had to change options every time i open it again... and my addons wouldn't load properly so I ended up not playing there, it's the worst operating system for gamers. It also is int good if you aren't admin, if you use limited or non-admin account, you would have to input the admin password every time you want to rename, move, install or edit certain files...
I installed Firefox, but about every 10 minutes of surfing it closes for no reason.
I'm sticking with my Kubuntu =]
EDIT: it also isint very customizable which i hate... and Id really wanna know who voted "I love it"
